Q: How much does your program cost?
Our combine lease rates are based upon the separator hours used per year, the type of machine you select and your delivery date.
Q: What assurance do I have that my combine will arrive on the day I requested?
Customer Service Representative (CSR) from EWSDemo will contact you 45 days in advance of the delivery date specified on your contract to discuss any modification to that date. You will receive another call from a CSR 15 days in advance of the delivery date to re-confirm and secure that date to be valid. If your combine is late, EWSDemo will apply a penalty credit to your account for each late day.
Q: What if my EWSDemo machine breaks down during my harvest?
In the cab of every machine is a toll-free number that connects you with one of our Technical Service Representatives (TSR) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the case of a machine breakdown, contact a TSR and they will work with you to determine the best solution, and will then work with the nearest service facility to get the machine back up and running. If the service technician determines that the repair will take more than 96 hours to correct, we will locate and deliver a substitute machine to complete your harvest.
Q: Who is responsible for repairs and maintenance costs?
EWSDemo covers the majority of routine maintenance cost and repair. Damage caused by abuse or neglect will be charged to the customer. Minor field repairs to belts, choppers and discharge beater assembly are cost-shared.
Q: How is the machine delivered? Do I pay for transportation to and from my farm?
EWSDemo is responsible for the delivery and pick-up of the machine at your farm. Customers may incur additional charges if the delivery location is outside of normal shipping lanes. Minor fuel surcharges may also be necessary to account for unstable fuel costs.
Q: What is the customer responsible for?
EWSDemo provides a field-ready machine to the customer. The customer provides their own implements, operator, fuel and insurance, including ingestion-specific insurance. If you do not carry your own ingestion insurance, we can provide the rider for a nominal cost. The customer also agrees to remove major dust and debris from the machine and its bin prior to pick-up.
Q: Can you help me sell my current machine?
Our Guaranteed Purchase Program is designed to provide an alternative for our customers to market their used combine. Your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will have all the details of this program.
Q: Do your machines have 4-wheel drive (rear-wheel assist)?
Four-wheel drive is available on a portion of our John Deere and Montana models. Please advise your Regional Sales Manager (RSM) if this is a requirement for your operation.
